PowerChute plus Installation Guide

Installation

1. Execute apcset32.exe in a PowerChute CD-ROM





2. Click [Continue] button





3. Click [I Agree] button





4. Click [Windows NT/2000 (Englisn)] link





5. Click [PowerChute plus with selectable components] link





6. Select [Typical] and click [Next]





7. Wait a while





8. Click [Yes]





9. Click [Next]





10. Click [Next]





11. Click [Next]





12. Click [OK]





13. Click [OK]





14. Click [Done]





15. Click [Exit]

Configuration

1. Select Server to configure and click [Attach]





2. Select [Diagnostics]->[Initiate UPS Self-Test]





3. Select [Configuration]->[Monitoring Preferences...]





4. Change Temperature Units to [Celsius] (if you want) and click [OK]





5. Select [Configuration]->[UPS Shutdown Parameters...]





6. Change parameters and click [OK]





7. Select [Configuration]->[Event Actions...]





8. Remove all [Notify Users] check boxes and click [OK]. That annoy all network users.
